Nile Pearl Hotel — Solar Water Heating
Installation of a 2,000-litre solar water heating system for a 40-room hotel in Jinja, eliminating electric water heating costs and reducing monthly utility bills by UGX 3.2 million.
Project Overview
The Nile Pearl Hotel required a cost-effective solution to its high hot water energy costs. JSWAT installed a pressurised evacuated tube solar thermal system with a 2,000-litre insulated storage tank, electric backup element, and automated temperature control.
